A visualization of the Biblical horses of 2 Kings 2:11-12.

Understanding how to depict the pose and wing anatomy was no small task, but I'm pleased with the result. Often, winged-horses are not shown with the muscular structure needed to power such large wings. In reality, this would require such large pectoral muscles that the creature would hardly resemble a horse. I tried to find a happy medium here that still shows a level of functionality. I forever enjoy exploring functional anatomy of fantasy creatures.
